General Info About Zubritzky & Christy OB/GYN Associates
Zubritzky & Christy OB/GYN Associates is a group of five physicians who currently serve women in the Pittsburgh area. We are primarily based in the western parts of Pittsburgh such as Robinson as well as the South Hills. We deliver at St. Clair Hospital in Mount Lebanon. The physicians who comprise the group are Dr. Paul Zubritzky, Dr. Patrick Christy, Dr. Tera Conway, Dr. Paula Duncan, and Dr. Liz Pronesti. We are happy to serve the people in the South Hills and Western Pittsburgh area.
Drs. Zubritzky, Christy, Conway, Duncan and Pronesti are part of a network of over 100 St. Clair Medical Services primary care and specialist physicians serving Pittsburgh’s South Hills.

Our practice is dedicated to providing to all women exceptional and very personal care at all stages of their lives. From formative teen years, to those for reproduction, and through menopause, we will strive to be at forefront of knowledge in our field while incorporating modern technology. We will create an open, respectful, and welcoming environment that encourages an active partnership to achieve our patients' optimal health.

Dr. Paul Zubritzky

Dr. Zubritzky specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. He earned his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital, where he served a Chief Resident. Dr. Zubritzky is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Zubritzky has served and cared for patients in the Western Pennsylvania area for over 35 years!
Dr. Patrick Christy

Dr. Christy specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. He earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College. He completed his residency at Lankenau Hospital, Wynnewood, Pa. Dr. Christy is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Christy has served and cared for patients in the Western Pennsylvania area for almost 20 years!
Dr. Tera Conway

Dr. Tera Conway specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. She earned her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Western Pennsylvania Hospital, where she served as administrative chief resident. Dr. Conway is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Conway enjoys caring for women in all stages of their lives, forming relationships with them, counseling on preventative health measures and providing care and treatment on a wide variety on gynecologic concerns such as abnormal bleeding, menopause, birth control and many others. She also feels very lucky and honored to be a part of the very special moments in her obstetrics patients lives. There is nothing else like listening to the baby's heartbeat the first time or handing a mom her newborn. Dr. Conway is also well trained in the area of gynecologic surgery including minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Conway lives with her husband, Collin and has two "fur-babies" - her cat, Jacoby, and dog, Chester! At home she enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and reading a good book. Outside, she is always planning an active adventure of sorts.

Dr. Paula Duncan

Dr. Paula Duncan joined the practice in 2013. She specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. She earned her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Magee Women's Hospital of UPMC, where she served as the teaching chief resident. Dr. Duncan is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Duncan is passionate about the health of women and prevention of common illnesses that affect them. She believes that empowering women with information by educating them is imperative - it allows them to take charge of their health. When treatment is required, Dr. Duncan loves helping women directly. If surgery is needed, she is able to provide minimally invasive techniques.
Additionally, Dr. Duncan loves being present for one of the most meaningful moments in a woman's life - pregnancy and delivery! While most deliveries are a joyous occasion, she has a special interest in women who have had a traumatic birth experience and gives them a safe and positive forum to discuss it collaboratively.
She enjoys hiking and running. She loves spending time with her family (of course, this includes her dog!).

Dr. Liz Pronesti

Dr. Elizabeth Pronesti specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. She earned her undergraduate degree in neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh and her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Magee Women's Hospital of UPMC, where she served as administrative chief resident. As a resident, Dr. Pronesti earned awards for excellence in high risk obstetrics, female pelvic medicine, and laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Pronesti entered the field of obstetrics and gynecology in order to be an advocate for women and to form a long-term relationship with her patients. Dr. Pronesti believes that it is a privilege to be able to care for women from puberty through menopause. Dr. Pronesti feels that it is a tremendous honor to support women throughout the journey of their pregnancy and to ultimately be a part of their delivery and postpartum care. Dr. Pronesti is well trained in gynecologic surgery including minimally invasive techniques.
Dr. Pronesti is a Pittsburgh native and a graduate of Chartiers Valley High School. She is very excited to be caring for the women of the community that she calls home. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cheering on her Pittsburgh sports teams.
